I'm Melanie Moore and I have been recruiting for a wide variety of organisations for over 27 years. Large clients have included Oxfam, the NHS, Vodafone and Honda. I have seen the job market change with technology, recessions, legislation and a pandemic and concluded that the most important lesson I have learnt is to treat every candidate and client as I would want to be treated myself - with honesty and respect.
Although I specialise in the recruitment of HR and Accountancy staff in the Kent and London areas, I provide Outplacement, Career Advice and CV Writing services to all job-seekers.
Don't get me wrong, I embrace technology, but more and more clients and candidates prefer a consultant that will get to know them or their organisation through face to face meetings. COVID-19 meant the use of online meetings and I will happily do this if required.
I am passionate about building relationships through honesty, trust and giving straightforward advice.

Knowledge
As the Vice Chair of Kent CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and Kent CIPD Lead for Communications and Engagement, I am uniquely placed to know the job market and have connections in organisations throughout Kent and the South East.
I also act as a mentor and coach for local schools, colleges and charities helping others to navigate the job market and hopefully helping them find employment.
About Me
At the start of my career I worked in HR then became the youngest landlady for Marston's Brewery. After a few years I decided to move back into HR but was persuaded to join Reed as they opened their new branch in Swindon. I enjoy making a difference in peoples lives and finding them work. I have also worked for independent agencies and enjoyed the personal service these can provide.
I have been a member of the CIPD for over 20 years and now hold the position of Vice Chair for the CIPD Branch in Kent and the Chair of the East and South Kent CIPD Group.
I started Moore People over 10 years ago to provide a personal, professional and successful recruitment service for HR, Finance and Accountancy disciplines in Kent and the South East.
